DESCRIPTION

This is the most "electric" certified scuba dive and snorkel in Kona Hawaii -- The World Famous Manta Ray night dive.

After a short 20 minute boat ride to the location, relax while you watch the sunset and then get briefed on the encounter that follows shortly thereafter. A 25 foot depth allows both snorkelers and certified scuba divers to see all the "action" as these gentle giants feed on a buffet of plankton attracted by dive lights -- included for each passenger.

There are more than 70 Manta Rays in Kona and all have names. They are black on the top and all white with black spots and black patches on their stomachs. These markings enable us to identify each known Manta Ray we see. At 16 feet from wing tip to wing tip, it's comforting knowing that they are completely harmless. Manta Rays have nothing that bites, nothing that stings making this the safest large animal encounter in the world!

RESTRICTIONS

• No age restrictions but not recommended for ages 6 and under
• Dolphins, Manta Rays and Whales are wild creatures and seasonal changes, surf conditions, and plankton in the water influence their presence. No guarantees are made for their presence, however you may come again for FREE if the animal of your adventure is not sighted during your charter.
